The Jean E. Thomson Foundation considers grant requests from Non-Profit Organizations located in Tacoma and Seattle, Washington; as well as Minneapolis, Minnesota. These Organizations must fall under one of the following catagories:
Religious, Charitable, Scientific, Literary, or Education.
Our cut-off date for receiving grant applications is October 1st of each year, and our grants are usually awarded towards the end of each year.

To qualify for consideration of your grant request, please refer to the following questions:

(1) Is your Organization located within our specified areas?

(2) Is your Organization an IRS-recognized Non-Profit 501(c)3?

(3) Does your Organization fall under one of our specified catagories?

If you answered "Yes" to all the questions above, click on the Grant Application link below to proceed. Grant Applications Must include a copy of your IRS Determination letter, and a copy of your most recent IRS Tax Return. Note: Financial Statements will Not be accepted in lieu of your IRS Tax Return. We only accept completed applications by mail.
